We just arrived home from a 5 day trip to Seaside, Florida where Billy's side of the family met us for some fun in the sun! We rented a FINE beach house right on the beach and spent our days riding cruiser bikes, playing in the sand, eating on the deck overlooking the beautiful aqua-blue water, eating and sleeping. We all had such a wonderful time. Libby and her cousin Brooke had a chance to bond and all of the adults enjoyed their playful entertainment. This was truly a great experience. We LOVE Seaside and Libby LOVES the beach!

Our first evening at Seaside we all went to the beach to get an upclose view of the water. This was Libby's very first sight of the ocean. She was tired from all the day's travels and she seemed very cautious. We could tell she didn't quite know what was going on. That night I wondered if she would really enjoy the beach or just be scared of it. The next day, after a glorious cruise around town on our bikes, we took Libby back to the beach. A wave knocked her over and I immediately thought "Oh no! She'll never like the beach" but a second later Libby got up, raised her hands to the sky and shouted "YEAH!" It was so cute and she became a beach baby at that very moment. Over the next couple of days she became even more adventurous. It was just wonderful watching her enjoy God's beautiful creation.
