"In China" Journal - Sept. 14 · Sept. 14, 2006

Hello Everyone!

I don't have long to write because Libby is up and active!! It's rainy in Guangzhou today and a bit more warm than it has been. Actually, we've been spoiled with cool temps for several days now. Looks like that is over! Oh well!

Today was our Consulate Appointment. We didn't actually have to be at the Consulate. Our guides took our paperwork and we just had to stay in our rooms in case they called with any questions. No phone call meant good news! After that we all went to McDonalds. It was so packed that we took our lunches back to the hotel and sat in the hallway for a picnic. The girls crawled all over while we chowed down on greasy food. Yum!

Next, it was back to shopping. I purchased a final few items and I'm done - thank goodness - I'm done!! Cristie Martine and I never thought we could be so tired of shopping. Now we're ready to pack and get home!

Billy and Doug took a walk around the "real China" and discovered back alleys and markets. Billy took lots of video and a few pictures. We're hoping to go back tomorrow so I can see it for myself. I've posted a few pictures of his excursion.

Well, Libby is at my chair looking up at me as if to say - "You waited all this time for me and now you're on the computer - what's up with that???" So I'm logging off and holding my baby girl!!

Love you all,

Cindy

Julie Wilson gave each of the Xuwen babies these cute pink outfits. So they all wore them and had their picture taken today. Libby's the one who knows where the camera is!! HAHA!
