We Read this Passage, It Spoke to Us and It Became Our Ebenezer. -Simple as that:

" The Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords. He is the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and takes no bribes. He gives justice to orphans and widows. He shows love to the foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing. YOU, TOO, MUST SHOW LOVE TO FOREIGNERS, FOR YOU YOURSELVES WERE ONCE FOREIGNERS IN THE LAND OF EGYPT. You must fear the Lord your God and worship him and cling to him." - Deut. 10:17-20

Why China?

1. While researching international adoption we learned of China's "one child policy". The Chinese government, in order to control population, allows each family to have only one child and traditionally the Chinese prefer boys over girls. As a result, the China orphanages are overflowing with baby girls.

2. China is the most consistent country in how they handle the adoption procedure. This means there is a smaller chance of procedures changing in the middle of paperwork.

3. China is the least expensive of all international adoptions we researched.

4. We believe we'll be able to adopt a baby as young as 6-8 months. This is not common in other countries.
